The Z8 is an eight-laser super high-density snapshot scanner. It is specifically designed for true snapshot sawmill scanning applications where the log or board is not able to be moved through the scan zone, such as end-doggers and C-frames. Z8 can also provide improved scanning data for very short-coupled carriages and edgers. Two different standoff configurations are available.
JS-50 Z8 expands on the proven sawmill success of our X6B model by doubling the laser density to an industry-best 3 inches.
